TAPITAPI

TAPI Division produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and herbal extracts. A special feature of the Division is that its portfolio contains all commercially produced ergot alkaloids. The most important products are nicergoline, cabergoline, lisuride (ergot alkaloids), butorphanol, buprenorphine (morphinan alkaloids), ciclosporin, mycophenolate mofetil, tacrolimus (immunosuppressives) and paclitaxel (cytostatics). These substances are produced mainly from natural sources. The final products are created by separation and consequent purification. More and more products are also prepared by chemical modification and synthesis. The success of the TAPI Galena Division is based primarily on the extensive experience of the branch and the use of state of art technology.
